Things that have happened lately

Bevan broke his leg digging out a concrete ditch. The concrete fell on his leg and broke his fibula. He has to wear this split for 1 1/2 weeks and then possibly a walking boot.

He is already bored and its only been 2 days!

Hallee loving her picture taken. She is such a doll! We love her alot!

Hallee and Grandpa hangin out

Austin growin up too fast!

He was really concentrating on this dance.

Holding his 8th grade diploma. Yea onto high school

Some of his class mates.

Austin receiving his diploma from Principal Richardson

More of his class mates

Grandpa Jack found this bird out in his field down at the farm. Brayden thought it was pretty cool!

Brayden playing baseball. I think he had a good time.

Hallee in her blessing dress. April asked if I would make her dress, so she showed me a picture on the internet and said what do you think and I said sure I will try. I was pretty nervous. I don't usually sew without step by step instruction so this was really stretching me to just go off a picture, but I did it and she looked so beautiful in it.

I went to the BYU Womens Conference the end of April and the BYU bookstore has a book signing, so I went and checked out who was coming and I saw John Bytheway would be there on Friday from 11-1pm so I called Bevan and told him. My family is pretty obsessed with his talks. I think we have every CD and video he has out right now. So Bevan took the boys out of school and drove up to have him sign books and get our picture taken with him. This was pretty cool for our family to talk to him.

Brayden receiving his Bear Advancement in Cub Scouting. He is doing so well in Cub Scouting. He really enjoys it alot!

Brayden pinning my mothers pin on me. He was so careful not to poke me. I am very proud of him.

Great trip back to Colorado!*!

Sorry our trip is backwards. So this was the last place before it got dark on us. It was about 4:00 p.m. This is called hanging lake. It is in Glenwood Springs Canyon.
These are the sides of the mountains and thelake was down in between them.

This is a hiking trail you could take. Some hikers were just coming out. They said it would take about an hour to get up to another lake. We wished we had arrived a little earlier

I asked the boys if they wanted to swim!

This is the highway going through Glenwood Springs Canyon. We are down on the lower rode. So I am taking the picture looking up. Its quite the stretch of highway.

Here is another view. Not so good, reflection of the glass from the car. Not alot of places to stop unless you take an exit.

This is continuing on East of Grand Junction, Colorado. They have some very interesting mountains.

More scenry going East of Grand Junction, Colorado

A little more!

This is the Colorado River that follows I-70 just East of Colorado clear to Eagle, Colorado.

Photos from the car are hard to take, but tried to get more of the river.

This is the San Rafel Swell. It wasn't a very warm day, but not too bad.

More of the San Rafel Swell

Quite the road going down through the swell.

This is a place called Ghost rock. It located about 30 miles before Green River, Utah.

Austin climbing up the rock. He was having a great time!*!

Austin was the first to find the way up the rock. He thought he was pretty smart.

This was their first attempt up the rock. They found an easier way up.

Deciding how they are going to climb up the rock. Typically boys right!*!*!
I said I will watch and take good pictures.

This was a place called Devils Canyon

That little speck in the middle of the picture is Brayden he is following his dad. They are headed at to the end of the peak.

Daniel, Austin and Brayden, my three boys. They were ready to get out and do some exploring. So that is what we did here. They had a great time.

This went quite a ways down. It was a unqiue canyon.

This is some of Utah scenry. We are almost to Green River.
We have taken this trip alot over the past 13 months, but haven't really taken the time to stop at alot of places. There is alot to see. You almost need to break it up into a couple of days, but we thought we may not be coming home this way, we probably will come home through Wyoming, so its not so hard on the vehicles pulling loaded trailers. I-70 is a beautiful ride. You go through quite a few tunnels, but it was getting too dark to take pictures of these. The Eisenhower Tunnel is the boys favorite, it is over a mile long. This is the Continental Divide. Well we just thought we share a little bit of what we have traveled over the past 13 months.

Christmas Fun!*!

Going to get our Christmas Tree. We love to do this every year!

We had our friend Daniel with us and he wanted to ride horses, so we took horses. It was a great time!

Austin and Amber having a wonderful time

Brayden and Gibson enjoying the horse ride. Gibson loves the horses. I am sure his Dad has something to do with that.

Amber picking out our tree. She did a good job. Now to take them home and do the decorating. What a wonderful time of the year. Christmas is probably one of our favorite. We enjoy anytime we can be together as a family. This Christmas will be great because we get to come home to Fillmore for a little while. Like I told Brayden, we are home until our dad takes us on our next adventure!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!*!*!

Brayden and Austin ready to go to the ward party!
Austin as a mighty body guard
Brayden has a great army man. Did you think he would be anything else?

Some of the primary children at the ward party

Some more primary children and ward members dressed up.
It was a good time. We had a good turn out. There was plenty of chili and the kids got plenty of candy.
